From corporate sustainability to ethical business practices
At Daiichi Sankyo we are committed to finding new and innovative ways to care for patients, and we firmly believe that our role should extend beyond that. We take our responsibility for society, for our employees and for the environment very seriously and commit ourselves to high ethical standards in business. One of our goals is to drive corporate sustainability. Therefore, sustainability is engrained in our company vision for 2030:
We strive to be an innovative Global Healthcare Company contributing to the Sustainable Development of Society.
We are committed to contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and actively promote initiatives towards achieving them. In our value creation process, sustainability development is one of our priorities. Together with our stakeholders, we identified eight material issues that are key to the company’s long-term business success and respond to the expectations from society at the same time. Environmental protection, our employees and compliance/governance are high-priority topics among them. To actively promote these priorities, we set KPIs and targets for each area.
