What motivates you about your job?
I am highly motivated by the research/break-throughs, which have the potential to revolutionize medical practices across various therapeutic areas. As a clinical scientist, I take great pride in crafting rigorous protocols and overseeing the collection of clinical data from our trials. This ensures that the process remains robust and reliable.
What do you look forward to when going to work?
When I head to work, I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to learn from my colleagues and engage in inspiring discussions with key stakeholders. I find great satisfaction in witnessing our projects progress successfully, yielding positive results and long-term benefits for all parties involved.
What is the most exciting part about your workday?
The most thrilling aspect of my workday is engaging with sites and Key Opinion Leaders. During these interactions, we gather valuable insights on trial conduct, address their needs, and provide training on trial protocols. Experiencing positive patient outcomes, and knowing that we are having an impact on their journey, brings the utmost excitement to our work.
How do you experience the work culture at Daiichi Sankyo?
One aspect that I truly appreciate is the high level of flexibility given to employees. There is no sense of micro-management, and managers trust their teams, guiding them in the right direction instead of imposing strict control. Additionally, the work-life balance initiative implemented by the company is remarkable. I am grateful for how well it has been established, as it has had a significant positive impact on both my professional and personal life.
Looking at our three Core Behaviours (Be Inclusive & Embrace Diversity, Collaborate & Trust, Develop & Grow) – pick one and tell us what you connect with it.
Develop & Grow: I have greatly benefited from the mentorship program recently implemented in the organisation. Daiichi Sankyo Europe strongly believes in our potential and supports our growth through training and mentoring opportunities. Managers are not only efficient in identifying the best career paths for their colleagues but also personally motivated and invested in their ongoing success throughout their professional development.
